Tournament Overview
1. Participation in the $10,000 Weekly Slot Tournament (“Tournament”) is limited to: (i) invited Club Serrano guests and (ii) non-invited Club Serrano guests that earn at least 1,250 Slot Tier Points during tournament hours on the day of a particular tournament (i.e. 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Thursday in May) (collectively, “Participants”).
2. For those non-invited Participants that earn the required Slot Tier Points described above, those Participants must go to any Club Serrano Kiosk to print their Tournament entry voucher before proceeding to the Tournament area (across from Greene St. Kitchen).
3. All invited Participants must also go to any Club Serrano Kisok to print their Tournament entry voucher before proceeding to the Tournament area (across from Greene St. Kitchen).
4. Machine assignments will be determined by a random draw when the guest arrives at the Tournament area. Management shall have the sole and absolute discretion to determine final machine assignments.
5. Participants will receive a four-digit pin number after they register. The four-digit pin number must be entered to initiate Tournament Play.
6. The Tournament consists of one (1) 2-minute round of Tournament play. Each Participant will play one (1) 2-minute round of Cleopatra.
7. Participants may arrive at the Tournament area at any time during the published Tournament hours and play their one (1) 2-minute round. Failure to arrive at the Tournament area and check-in with a Tournament representative during the published Tournament hours will eliminate the Participant from entry into the Tournament.
8. Tournament play will take place on designated Tournament machines. Only one (1) person may play per machine, per round.
9. It is the Participant’s responsibility to immediately notify the Tournament representative with questions or concerns that may arise during a round. Upon notification of a malfunction, Management will determine, at its sole discretion, whether to continue play or to replay a session.
i. Participants should continue to press the ‘Play’ button while they are awaiting a Tournament representative to assist them.
ii. Minor pauses or delays are not considered a machine malfunction.
10. Tournament Machines have individual timers that may shut off upon malfunction. In the event a malfunction cannot be corrected, the Participant will be moved to a vacant Tournament Machine to play his/her round. In the event the Participant is unable to be moved to a vacant Tournament machine during his/her round, the Participant will be accommodated at Management’s Discretion. A complete round must be played on a single machine. One (1) single Participant must play an entire round.
i. No money, tokens or coins will be required to play Tournament Machines.
11. In the event of a system-wide Tournament Manager malfunction, the Tournament Prize Structure is considered payable to all Participants that completed their one (1) 2-minute round.
12. If two (2) or more Participants have the same score total from their one (1) 2-minute round, the tied Participants will equally split the sum total of the applicable prizes. For example, if three (3) Participants tie for 2nd place, they would equally split the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes; the next highest score would receive the 5th place prize amount.
13. Prizes will be awarded according to the Prize Structure.
14. A Participant’s score is determined by the number of points registered on his/her assigned Tournament Machine at the end of their round, regardless of what the credit meter reads.
15. The Prize Structure will be paid as published. Any agreements between Participants concerning the sharing of Tournament winnings are entered into solely by the Participants and are not endorsed by Palms Casino Resort. Palms Casino Resort does not enforce any of these types of agreements and is not responsible if certain parties do not honor their agreements.
GENERAL RULES
1. Free Play Prizes will be valid for thirty (30) days.
2. Any prize won will be automatically loaded/awarded to the primary registered Participant’s account.
3. Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.
4. Falsification of any information will result in ineligibility.
5. There is no smoking or vaping inside the Tournament Area.
6. By participating in the Tournament, all participants agree to and acknowledge that they will abide by the official rules, regulations, and procedures of the Tournament. Official rules will be posted at the Club Serrano Rewards Center and Tournament area.
7. By participating in this Tournament, you grant Palms Casino Resort permission to print, publish, televise, or otherwise utilize your name, city, state, photograph, or any likeness of you for promotional purposes.
8. Management on duty will resolve any and all disputes. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified.
9. Any violation of Tournament Rules may result in immediate disqualification of the Participant(s) involved. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Tournament Committee will be final and binding.
10. Persons who have voluntarily or involuntarily been excluded from the property or who have requested self-exclusion from the property are not eligible to participate in the promotion.
11. Employees of Palms Casino Resort and their respective affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, franchisees, and advertising or promotion agencies are not eligible, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse, and life partners).
12. Must be 21 years of age or older to participate, be able to present proof of age with valid government-issued photo identification during the event and must be a member of the Club Serrano program. Membership is free.
13. Casino capacity is limited and participation in a promotion/event/tournament is not guaranteed if a member is unable to register during the times stated in the official rules. No special circumstances will warrant the delaying of a promotion/event/tournament to be able to accommodate individuals or groups of individuals.
14. Management reserves the right to cancel, change or modify the Tournament without notice at any time.
15. The decisions of Management regarding all aspects of this Tournament are final and binding, subject to NRS 463.362 which governs the Tournament.
16. Palms Casino Resort shall be excused from all performance and or payment obligations when the ability to execute the aforementioned promotion has been impeded as a result of, or arising from, any of the following: governmental laws, regulations, orders, war, acts of terrorism, acts of nature, pandemic viruses, riots, civil disobedience, severe weather conditions including but not limited to tornadoes, hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, hail storms, state or national emergencies (hereinafter referred to as “Force Majeure conditions”). Palms Casino Resort shall only be excused from their performance and/or payment obligations of said promotion during the duration of the Force Majeure condition. Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to cancel, terminate or postpone the Promotion in its sole discretion due to Force Majeure conditions. The Executive management of Palms Casino Resort shall retain the right to reschedule, or not reschedule, the aforementioned Promotion in its sole discretion. The staff of Palms Casino Resort shall use reasonable efforts to inform Promotion Participants of the cancellation, termination, or postponement of any Promotion due to Force Majeure conditions.
